12/2/08 Almost winter time!
Hey everyone! Sorry for the long stretch between news entries. This fall has
been interesting and fun - we've done a couple shows with The Release, EHB,
Jake Hill and Jo Henley, a totally awesome bluegrass band who played up at
Skidmore in November. We've got a number of shows in the works for this winter,
including our annual BIG FREEZE. Check back really soon for updates on those
shows.
10/3/08 A taste of the Caribbean in Saratoga!
In a couple weeks The Release will be playing at Skidmore College - the next
day we'll be doing a show with ROBANIC
an awesome Jamaican reggae band (band leader "Robot" Ellis is the
nephew of "Grandfather of Rocksteady", Alton Ellis). If you're looking
for a great range of rock, jam and reggae, then King's Tavern is the place
to be on Oct. 18th 9pm. Union Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY.
9/4/08 Brewster goes Upstate!
This fall we'll be visiting beautiful Upstate New York for a few shows with The Release, Jake Hill & the Law, Eagle Hill Band and more. There will be at least 2 shows at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs: 10/17 : The Release, and 11/8: Jake Hill & the Law. Keep your eyes peeled for more info regarding these shows (and possibly more NY shows around those dates).
8/30/08 Greg Loftus CANCELLED tonight
Tonight's show at the Hedge House lawn has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience. Check back for more fall shows - see you soon!
8/25/08 Peace out summer: Greg Loftus will help us wave goodbye to a fun and busy three months We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people and groups who helped us greatly throughout this truly exciting summer: Our volunteer staff members (Steve, Shaun, Erin, Amy, Melanie, Alex, Courtney, Andrew, Seth, Natalie, Shane, Ryan, and so on); all of the bands and musicians (4 of whom were especially amazing, fun and easy to work with: The Release, Jake Hill & the Law, Side Street Bandits and 3rd Left); Cheri Thomsen of Economic Development at Plymouth Town Hall; the DPW ground crew who opened up and powered the stage for us every night; Donna Curtain and the rest of the Plymouth Antiquarian Society; our (limited number of) sponsors; Al's pizza for always being open with good prices; Mark Bryant from Seasound Recording Studio for supporting our series and giving us some valuable advice; and of course everyone who came out to the shows despite rain, minimal promotion and lack of nationally known acts. We've definitely showed everyone that a couple 21-year-old kids can put on a concert series to rival even the most well-funded concert series in town.
Thank you again and we'll see you next year for more summer concerts! p.s. Don't think that we're going anywhere now that summer's over. We'll be around throughout the fall, winter and spring - we'll just be spending our time indoors. Keep checking back for updates.

8/22/08 Waterfront Festival Saturday and Sunday!
A few Brewster regulars will be performing at the Plymouth Waterfront Festival this weekend on Water St., Plymouth. Stephen Infascelli will perform Saturday 8/23 on the Mayflower Stage at 4pm, and on the main stage on Sunday at 4pm. Shaun Dever will perform on the main stage on Sunday at 2:30pm. Stephen MacDonald will perform Saturday on the Mayflower Satge at 2:00pm. Brewster Productions will be down there doing some sound boarding and what not, so come say hi!
8/21/08 It keeps you running: Welcome to Foss.
We just got back from a fun trip up to New Hampshire and Foss Running Camp, where Stephen Infascelli performed to a great audience of future and current cross-country running champs. Infascelli, a counselor at the camp, played an extra-long set and even had a few campers come up and play. We had great time rockin’ out by the campfire and sleeping on the floor of a cabin with the St. John’s XC team. Look for photos at some point in the near future.
8/20/08 Schoolhouse Rock photos!
We have a few photos up from Schoolhouse Rock: HERE.
8/20/08 Schoolhouse Rock '08: "Kick it In!", or "The show must go on." For a more detailed and grammatically correct review, analysis and heartfelt something-or-other about the show, check out our blog. There will be something up by Monday, we pinky-swear. .
8/12/08 Eagle Hill Band 8/15! SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK '08 8/16
This weekend is going to be a biggun'. On friday we've got Eagle Hill Band (formerly The Clams of Death - of Plymouth South HS fame), Brewster (name similarity is coincidental) and Third Semester.
THEN, on Saturday is our big summer send-off show, Schoolhouse Rock. It runs from 1pm-9:30pm on the Plymouth Waterfront and will feature 8 local bands, all in an effort to raise both money for Plymouth Public Schools and awareness of the importance of public education nationwide.
We will be selling concert t-shirts and raffle tickets, and all profits will go toward a donation to the school system. A portion will be put toward a scholarship fund. Be sure to come down, check some awesome local bands and buy a t-shirt. We'll have a way you can order more
if we run out, or if we have extras, a way you can buy them online with PayPal. Last year we donated $600.
8/2/08 New temporary web site
Greetings! As we're working on our new web site, please enjoy this temporary one. You'll notice there is a link to our brand new 'Brewster Blog' above. You can still see our old site HERE.
7/27/08 Happy Birthday to us!
Yes today is Brewster Productions' 1st birthday. So congrats to us for being so cool.
....The acoustic show last night went great, and we'll be back in the same spot this friday 8/1 with Chris Albert and The Works. It should be awesome. We're going to be looking to do a ton of shows (mostly of the indoor type) starting in September, so if you'd like to get in on all that, let us know. More on that later. G'day.
7/26/08 Acoustic Show tonight!
It would be hard to say last night's show went off without a hitch - there were plenty of hitches - but the bands sounded great and 'nobody died' (to quote Jon in the Plymouth Bulletin). Tonight is the first night of our new acoustic concert series on the lawn of the Hedge House. Seth McFadyen (of Eagle Hill Band and Clams of Death fame) will be opening for the lovely and talented Stephen Infascelli. The whole shebang starts around 7pm. If you are quietly wondering to yourself, "W(here)TF is the Hedge House?!" wonder no more. It is at 126 Water St., for you Mapquest and GPSers, and right between Mama Mias and the Visitor's Info Center near the Ming Dynasty. The concerts are on the big lawn, you'll see it.
7/22/08 Brewster has ANOTHER concert series?!?!
Yes, indeed we do. And by the way the show Saturday was awesome. The Release put on an awesome show and they might just be back for another round later in the summer....
But this week's big story is Brewster Productions' new concert series, Acoustic Evenings on the Harbor, which will take place on 5 nights in July and August on the Lawn of the Hedge House at 126 Water St. (right next to Mama Mias). The series will feature the best in local acoustic folk-indie-pop talent including Jake Hill, Stephen Infascelli, Greg Loftus, Chris Albert and Seth McFadyen. The dates are 7/26, 8/1, 8/8, 8/9, and 8/30. See the schedule below for artists. Special thanks to the Plymouth Antiquarian Society for their help. Bring a lawn chair and come enjoy the show!
7/18/08 THE RELEASE tomorrow!!!
In case you happen to have been under a rock, as Jake Hill might say, for the past couple weeks in Plymouth, there's a brand new concert series in town and the 2nd night of it features one of the hottest area bands of the millenium. The Release, formerly 3 Feet Short, will be gracing the Waterfront stage tomorrow (Sat. 7/19) with Plymouth act Boston and Bosco, and our good-singer-songwriter-friends, Shaun Dever and Ben Carter. In case you haven't heard of the Release, under their former name, they've played the Avalon and the Palladium, among others, and shared the stage with Goldfinger, Catch 22 and Bayside, to name a few.
7/18/08 Press up to our eyeballs

1/29/08 Summer Concert Series!
It's official: the School's Out! Summer Concert Series is ON! Brewster Productions will be presenting a 5-week free concert series in July and August to raise awareness of the importance of public education AND to bring some life to the Plymouth Waterfront on Friday nights. Here are the dates: 7/11, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8 and Schoolhouse Rock '08 on 8/15. We don't have any official lineups yet, so if you are in a band and want to play, send us an e-mail. We'll be having a few theme nights too, so if your band is made up of current or former students at Plymouth North or South high school, or if you are an acoustic artist, get in touch!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the BIG FREEZE '07. We hope everyone has had a happy new year thus far, and indeed we do have some shows coming up. Keep an eye out for a few shows this spring featuring the likes of Side Street Bandits, Stephen Infascelli and Spectacular Spectacular.
After an over-14-month hiatus, Saucy Seth & the Clams of Death are back in town! Join us for Big Freeze '07 featuring the Clams of Death, Steve Infascelli, and Shaun Dever & Friends. Doors open at 6:15pm, admission is $4 or $3 with donation of a canned good.
This Wednesday, at Kiskadee Coffee Company in downtown Plymouth, there will be a very special show involving some of Brewster Production's
close friends and musical partners. We're not putting on the show, but we want people to watch our buddies belt it out while strumming
their six-strings. Jake Hill, Steve Infascelli, Stephen MacDonald, and Shaun Dever will be playing to a turkey-hungry
crowd at 3:30pmat the Kiskadee Coffee Company on Wednesday, November 21 in the
place where it all started: Plymouth, Mass.
We hope everyone will go out for a nice afternoon of acoustic tunes.
Here's a lovely poster by Shaun Dever.
Stay tuned for news in a few possible shows this winter involving Steve Infascelli, and even...the Clams of Death. Don't quote me on that though.
We have a new website! Have a look around, and if you find any bad links or messed up stuff, e-mail the webmaster. Thank you .
