We’re counting down on Twitter (@brewsterprod) the top 5 cool new things we’re unveiling this summer at our concert series and music festival. Here’s #1!!

The Eagle Hill Band jams out at our June 4th show this year, with guests Ben Carter, Doug Logan, and Nate Cristofori.

1. FULL BANDS! Yep, that’s right, you just might see a drum kit or two on the Hedge House Lawn this summer. This year we’re stepping up to full-band status – yes, the shows are still acoustic in nature (we’re keeping the drum kits small – like a stripped-down “Unplugged” sort of thing), but this new addition is going to be really cool. We’ve got acoustic bands like Anika Scribbling, Westerly Whales, Jake Hill & Deep Creek, and Ben Carter which will be thoroughly awesome, and we’re also super excited about is this: We’ve got some bands playing extra-special acoustic shows just for the Acoustic Nights series! Bands like The Okay Win and Large are putting together one-time-only unplugged sets for their shows at the Hedge House, and it’ll be really cool to hear their music in a different context.

In the summers to come, we’re planning to expand on this and get even more up-and-coming bands like The Okay Win to do a stripped-down set for us. This summer’s going to be an exciting one – we can’t wait to see you at the shows!

We’ve updated our big July 15th opening night show lineup. Brian Sances will now be playing July 29th, and on July 15th will be Pembroke alt-folk collective Anika Scribbling, singer-pianist Stephen Capachione playing his variety of piano and keyboard electronica tunes. Still on the lineup is awesome Plymouth 3-piece LARGE.

The Lindsays Sept. 2nd; Doug Logan June 4th + July 22!!

Closing out the summer on September will be awesome Irish music duo, The Lindsays. We’ve also added our friend Doug Logan to the June 4th “No More Pencils” show, and he’ll be opening up for The Release on July 22.

We’ve just booked Plymouth singer-songwriter Nanci Hobson to play at the Hedge House July 29th. More info on that show coming soon, but for now check out Nanci’s music. Also joining Nanci to open up the show 7/29 is singer-pianist Amy Mercier.

Ben Carter, Jake Hill to perform in August!

We’ve just added Boston singer-songwriter Ben Carter and Plymouth rising blues/folk star Jake Hill to the schedule. Ben will play August 5th at the Hedge House, and Jake Hill headline the August 12 show at the Hedge House. Also, Nate Cristofori will now be playing August 5th.

The Release July 22th, Nate Cristofori added to July 15th!

We’ve got lots of new acts coming in this year, but two of our old friends have just been signed on to play. Boston rock-reggae foursome The Release will play a very special acoustic show July 22 at the Hedge House, and singer-pianist Nate Cristofori will offer his perennially popular tunes at our opening night July 15.
